Error: No card-reader Found

Please help me I just brought the device and when i run the program it say no card-readers found please help me i setup eveything perfect for sure.

I did download the driver and setup already, but still get the same message may i ask what is the FGSCR dirver for, the only dirver that i did not use is that file maybe i did not setup right. please help me i always got the no card readers foundthanks

Your reply is not very helpful.. i have tried in 2 differnt pc and it still dont work. the problem is during instalation of driver, it does not ask for card reader driver, this is why it does not install. we need proper solution. since i have bought this hardware i have not able to use it so far!

now listen here and follow these steps.
you first uninstall soft and uninstall drivers.go in device manager and unistall them, also uninstall furious gold software.
after that restart pc.
now unzip FuriousGold Smart Card drivers from support area
now install furious gold software.
when all finished connect box to pc
wait few seconds until device is detected, found and you receive meseageL your new device is is installed and ready to use.
after that go in c:\program files\furious gold
open maintainance tool and update fw and after that create your license(generate the key)
after all is finished close maintainance tool.and open modules..it will work.
if you will stop somewhere or you will receive error after all this post here screenshot with error or copy paste log error.
i wait your result.

A waste of time, the problem was a loose dongle! i opened the box and reinserted the dongle and it worked fine after that. you should have figured it out when i said that during instalation it does not ask for smart card reader driver!

ok, glad you solved your problem..that is why i told you how to proceed step by step and where you receive error send here log or screenshot...so i can figure out more exact why...
anyway congratulation for solving your problem

try with no other usb connected, i have the problem too. but now my furious run smoothly. if u want to make furious run with other device, cut the line off for furious ligth box.

Got a similar problem here..

Have tried to install FB Gold but get the following Problem..
Installed software got both sets of drivers from furious website installed in 2 different folders FGSCR in one folder and FTDI in another, when plugging in FB Gold it finds various different devices and drivers then when it gets to Furious Gold driver It finds the driver then comes up with the error below and then repeats the found new hardware/Furious gold driver and asks to install again then comes back with error below..
All the drivers from the zip are in the specified folder and when found new hardware asks where they are I direct it to the correct folder..
I have tried both folders and it only finds the driver in the FTDI folder, If I direct it to the
driver folder with the files, dongle.INF, UMSS.sys & UMSSPDR.pdr it doesnt find them and says it doesn't contain the neccessary software...

Anybody have any Idea's please..

unplugg all usb device from your pc, especially the bluetooth.
after unpluggin all usb device, use this drivers:
Furious Gold Driver by steve
and proceed in instalation.

Hi.

Thanks for that, got it installed but still Can't use it.
If I run any of the apps I get the First error of this..

Code0x00000002

Then everytime afterwards I get

No card readers found.

At No time during installation did it ask for any files from the FGSCR.zip archive that contain the files dongle.INF, UMSS.sys & UMSSPDR.pdr in the "driver" folder... all files were taken from the FGB_ftdi_drivers.rar archive in the folder "Furious Gold Driver by steve".

1 st error when trying to run the furious Maintainance program


Then this error when tring to run any furious programs after that.

i told you unplugg all usb devices.
uninstall setup and install again., when you connect furious gold to pc, no other usb-device conected, and after all installed ok, don't forget to run maintainance tool, but this only later, server is off

Other devices were all unplugged, Bluetooth, printer, camera etc I don't know why the bluetooth still showed in the device manager, but it was defo unplugged...

I'll uninstall, unplug all again and reboot before re-installing furious and see what happens..
I'll try this in the Morning and let you know.. thanks

Installed it on another PC Ok (this one Has no other usb devices etc)
Got it installed OK ( Still doesn't ask for any drivers from the drivers folder only from the Furious Gold Driver by steve folder)

and I still get the above error as tho the Box is not connected.
Somebody suggested that the Dongle inside could be faulty or just the box, is there a way to test one or the other, too rule one out ??
Have tried a different USB cable just incase
I also Have checked to make sure the dongle inside hasn't worked loose...

u probably got the same problem as i did, the dongle inside the box was loose. i opened the box and re-inserted the dongle and after that it worked fine. try that and see what happens. you will notice that once u done that (re-inserted the dongle) the computer will detect a new hardware.

Great result, thanks Shady... I too had the same problem. Just bought the box and recieved it today. Card-reader - NOT found error.

And followed your instructions, and indeed the dongle was LOOSE. plugged it in.. and it worked stright away, ran the maintence, update, and got licence.

All I need is a phone to test!!
