Exclamation How to unlock LG KG800 'chocolate' KG90 using Furious-Gold

If you don't have KG800 cable you can build a small adaptor to be able to unlock KG800 easy using Furious-Gold. Look the picture on top and do exactly same. You can find prepared cable when you can see some sticker 'RX', 'TX', 'GND', then simply connect on the usb female connector like you see on the picture. After this connect usb cable to your new adaptor and connect adaptor to your FuriousGold or on COM port.

Connect your FuriousGold to usb and go to : C:\Program Files\FuriouS GOLD where should be installed FuriousGold softwares. Simply double click LGM2 icon to start the aplication.
Please go to control on your computer and see which com port is used by your FuriousGold.

Now choose your phone in list (here i try with LG KG800 'chocolate', select FTDI use, then press DOJOB. Software will ask you to power on phone. Then do it. Do a 2 sec pressing on the power button. When you see starting communication you can unpress it.

Your phone is now unlocked in exactly 26 seconds.

Here is the picture how must be connected the cable and adaptor you made.

This is picture before unlocking with Furious. 'Insérer carte SIM adéquate' means please insert correct sim card.

This is 26 seconds after using FuriousGold

Need more help ? Comments here please

I can creat RJ45 cable as guide of FGB team, but I'd like to know how can find phone's cable. Can I use normal USB motorola cable? or must have special Kg800 USB cable which enclosed phone when buy it?
If I don't have Kg800 USB cable, can you show me the way, and give me pinouts to creat it.
Big thanks.

This post was to create the RJ45 cable using the USB cable. Where are you? I will tr to find a place to order the cable. At ebay you will get it really cheap and then it will be easy to create the RJ45

Hey, Guys.. My phone is udner Australia Vodafone

I am going2 unlock my Kg90, previously from Kg890,glad to see all the detailed procedure is here.
i flashed my KG, by a flash cable i purchased to change language.

Here are some questions:

Do i have to get the 'Golden box' to unlock it?...or i could jus tuse the FG software and my flash cable, to work on my laptop??.. if so dat'd be heaps convinient.

Cheers, heaps thanks..
