How to Flash Blackberry phone

There is different reason why to flash blackberry phones. It will upgrade your phone to latest version. So will fix some bugs, add some options, some languages, games etc ... To be able to unlock blackberry phones with FuriousGold your phone have to be latest version to be able to unlock it. If not you will have to Flash the phones with the files provided in support area, then after this you will be able to unlock it. Here you can find Step by Step how to flash blackberry phones in few minutes.

Download flash file you need from support area. Here i do test with 7230.

After downloading please start installation and select language you need.

Press Next

Select your country and press next button

Accept terms and conditions

Wait few seconds for installation



Installation finish, select start Desktop Manager Software and click Finish



Click Next button (here suivant in french)



Select Detect communication port and press Next.



Now VERY IMPORTANT to do this go in folder C:\Program Files\Common Files\Research In Motion\Shared\Loader Files and copy this folder to c: directly like this :

Now VERY IMPORTANT to do this go in folder C:\Program Files\Common Files\Research In Motion\Shared\Loader Files and copy this folder to c: directly like this :
If you don't do this you will meet this problem :

And after copied the folder on C: directory will be ok like this :

So now select options you want then press next button. (Here suivant)



You can start BB Manager and click 1st icon if you want also.

Make a auto backup always safe

You are going to upgrade the phone now !!

Don't disconnect your phone during this operation. Don't touch anything. Just do 1 coffee and relax. You have 5-10 minutes for this.

Here you can take another coffee or coca cola if u preffer

Ok leave coffee back to work, restoring now the back up before flashing.



Upgrade done and complete !



Here my 7230 with latest firmware. Ready to be unlocked

You should tell us which cable to use?

I have USB cable came with the BB7230, but no USB connection on the FGold box, etc

I need more clarifications on these.

Also, you should put on the web, all cables advertised with Fgold, to which cable to which model to use, because the Fgold box came with Samsungs cables, but no samsung models supported in the list.

I think if u put those, all new users of FGold will not be confused and easy for them to follow and enjoy using FGOLD for the 1st time.

For blackberry just use original cable and plug it to your computer direct.

Pls following carefully the following, and suggest solution to me asap:

Start from screen_shot1 to the last one, is the logical order of attempts to install flash file from support and copy files to C: and stucked on that stage, and never able to continue due to errors (see screens shots)below:

screenshot 1 up to the last one shows errors, so i dont know how to continue. It was advised that files not complete or something like that.

after copied folder to C: and tried to add, only looked for *.ALX and *.ALI file extensions.

i added one by one those *.alx and *.ali file into designated location and when click ok, i have error, so i select to open All FIles type and tried to add other type too but have another error.

So whats wrong, this is the 3rd computers i tried to install flash and to flash BB7230, but facing the above errors. So whats going on here?

Do u have any idea why and how to solve this?

I think that this requires remove all the application and files, reinstall them, then reboot and try again. I had this problem with a 7290 long time ago and I can't remember really well the solution but I think it's the one I gave you

if you want to unlock it...no way
7130 is same as 8xxx series..so not suported for unlock.
but flashing..will be done, if you follow this tutorial step by step
